@aart, thanks. Greenhouse framing led to Canopy framing, and I found what I was looking for. I also found out that they are $8-10 each for the corners, and over $20 for the four arm pieces. I don't know if we will be able to find pieces that match the angles of the existing run. I do not want to spend $100-200 on pieces, do a bunch of cutting and fitting, and be under the gun to get this done when we have stuff that is already made.

Now I need to talk hubby into my original plan... Maybe just read him the above paragraph?

I was unceremoniously awakened by the stench of dog crap in the bedroom. A little HUGE gift from our visiting dignitary.

Good morning Cafe', and thanks DL. Almost an unpleasant surprise here this morning. Maggie woke me at 4:45 this morning in desperate need of pooping. Better outside than in her crate. My fault. Friday she missed a meal due to her grooming so I overfed her a bit yesterday. I should know better.

I have to tell a funny (third hand) story.

A friend's parents were dog sitting, and not being dog owners, had been informed that their canine guest had a "going outside to potty" schedule that worked very well to prevent inside accidents. The dog also had obnoxious smelling gas on occasion.

The couple retired at their usual time and promptly fell asleep, the dog sleeping in a bed near the dresser. An hour later, the woman shook the man awake. "Did you take the dog out? I think I smell something!"

The man got out of bed and was fumbling to get the light turned on. "EWWW! I just stepped in it!" He got the light turned on, and the dog looked up at him, as if to say, what's going on?

The couple looked around at the floor and could find nothing. So my friend teased her dad about being the only person to have ever stepped on a fart.

They're setting off fireworks at 3:30 PM? All of our goldens were terrified of fireworks. Maggie just gets pissed off and runs to the picture window growling and barking. It's going to be a long afternoon/evening. Hope they drink themselves into oblivion early on.

I may have to do the 'crazy neighbor' routine once again. Neighbor across the street is 4th generation here. First three generations were well known to me and were great neighbors - #4 not so great. He has a friend who visits and just turns his dog loose. Dog comes over here and agitates my dogs. Last time it happened was 11:30 at night. I hear the dogs raising Hades, and the Princess comes into the bedroom and says, "I think there's an alien in the backyard." WTH I look out, and there are strobing blue lights zipping around the backyard. It's the friend's dog with some sort of collar with flashing/strobing blue lights. I chase the dog down my driveway screaming, "I'm tired of this 'stuff' at near midnight." I'll admit I also dropped a few 'F' bombs screaming like a lunatic for a significant period of time. The next day they started putting up a fence in their backyard to keep their dogs and the friend's dog. Problem apparently solved. There's more than one way to skin a cat.
