Good morning everyone!

I just brewed a nice pot of coffee for all in need, so get a mug and help yourselves to it.

Last night's rain cleared the stuffiness out of the air and the bright blue sky with sunshine will hopefully make for a wonderful and busy day.

Raining again. It is possible with the fireworks and stuff, that the dog bolted and snapped the line. I have seen more than one case of that after the 4th for sure.
We even managed to rescue a dog who got tangled up with tree snags along a stream.
He was a few days from starving to death and so weak when we found him that we had to carry him and hike out. That was a chance discovery as we were not on a real trail, just following game trails and exploring.

Lucky dog for sure! Have you been able to reunite him with his owners or what happened to him after the rescue?

Hey picked up 7 banty just got home put them in their new brooder got nutri drench in their water dipped all the beaks 5 silkie day old 2 EE

That's called devotion.

It was funny, she started down off the roost the minute I walked into the shed, she knew I was going to uncover the nests.
She broke in 3 days back in May, it was hot as hell then too.
Today is day 3 maybe it will be the last.

80°-80% feel terrible this morning...icky sticky.
Another scorcher today....and tomorrow too(that's new)
Am gonna have to take a respite ride today.

LF, we never found the owners ( out of state campers?) so I found a new owner for him. I was going to keep him but whenever I would get up on my horse, he would freak out. He was a Newfie cross and a really nice dog. I am off to cut some dead trees down.

Oops, who wanted that darn dog anyways? Trip postponed/canceled due to some issues that I felt were unfair to foist upon our totally capable daughter. We'll watch grandson play ball and then go to pick up Maggie.

Got a list of stuff to do... So far I've done the really short and easy inside things. I know I should have done the garden stuff first... I'm telling myself how cool I will feel when I'm soaked with sweat and the breeze is blowing.
