Aha! Extra cheat sheet! I have had blue rare. I order med rare at the steakhouses here, because they usually come out closer to rare.

While 2 is my ideal, 1 & 3 would be acceptable. Coming off a backyard grill, I could eat 4, but beyond 4 they're all waaaay overcooked. If 8, 9 or 10 are required, save your money and just get a hamburger!

I'd be happy with anything 4-7, 3 if I trusted the Person cooking it to know what they were doing.
I can't get over the Fact that Blue-Rare Is cooked to a lower Temp than my hot Tap Water.
