I am getting closer on finishing the addition to the run. Chicken wire going over the roof, HC on a couple triangle-shaped spots where rooflines don't match. The last big bit is building a new door. I'm using the wood from the old door to make the new one, but it'll be larger. So I have to find a way -- tarps, probably -- to block off escape while I do the building part.

It's going to get hot and humid again. Ugh. And wow! are the mosquitos out now!

Chicken wire is on the roof, triangle patches are on. I need to get some more zip ties in place to close up openings. And build the door.

I had to stop because, Bless you Mother Nature! it is raining right now. Steady, gentle rain. We need it. I hope it rains all day, even though everything on my to do list is outside and won't get done.

Egg customer brought me 2 gorgeous Red Havens, just shy of ripe.

My arm aches from firewood... imagine that one. That must have been a sight to see, aart! Guess who's DS is talking to a D1 wrestling coach today? Fingers crossed!!!!

I'm tired and smell bad. It was 87 today. On a positive note, I did not get stung.

DH helped clean. I ran a magnet over the driveway. I'm sick of holes in my tires.
Dump run in the morning then I'm working on getting the Hardie backer and plywood sheathing up and wrapping it.
Well, maybe that's a pipe dream. I still have to reframe the door openings.

The rain only lasted about an hour. Maybe 1/8" total, but I'll take it. I am so hoping for more Sunday night/Monday as "they" said we might get.
