You mean like the house? I can literally touch the house and these trees at the same time. One is arched way over the house, reaching for sunlight; the others all have large limbs over the house. The youngest of these trees is probably 60 years old.

Why didn't the BUTTHEAD who built the house take them down before it was built? Idiot.

The guy who came today sounds like he can do the job for way less than the other quote. He also thinks I'll get 8-10 yards of wood chips out of the deal too.

:celebrate:wee:ya:woot:thumbsup

Yup, I got a use for all of them.

I have one more quote coming next week.
That's good news, Sally! Just to be on the safe side, let him show you his insurance policy in case he might cause damages to your house...

Just thinking about it makes my mouth water...:drool
Best go butcher one of your chickens then, eh? :D

Well, I know how thewanker got that hen down, she was acting poorly this morning, and was in a nest last night, and is light as a feather.
She's in the hospital crate for observation.
So much for no more chickendrama. SMH.

Just for the heck of it measured Maggie Mae today. She's 24" at the shoulders. 10 months old so not certain if she will grow taller. Certain that she will fill out more. Tonight our vet stopped over and gave her the second canine influenza shot. Both Maggie and I got vaccinated today. So far my Shingrex vaccination is causing me no problems.

I've got to get that done too.

I had to dash out for some 28 degree pneumatic framing nails and pick up some soffit I bought yesterday but needed the trailer to take home. We left at 5:20 and passed a racoon staggering along the side of the road about 1/3 mile away. It looked terrible. Poor thing.

On the way home from the same run about 2 miles away and in the burbs, a gorgeous little red fox shot across the road.
