The third quote was supposed to happen Wednesday, but no one showed up. I called to accept the second quote, and the person I talked to was the quote guy's mother. I told her how impressed I was with her son. Moms need to hear that kind of stuff when it happens, and I was glad to tell her.

I'm going to the chiro today. Then errands in town. Among them: get some more feeders/waterers for the upcoming integration this weekend, and stop at the bank for cash because we might get a NEW DOG!! tonight!!

It's going to be a busy weekend here, that's for sure!

Homemade apple pie. I thought this was obvious.

All organic ingredients:

125 g real butter
125 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
4 eggs
200 g wheat meal
2 tablespoons of real milk
apples from our orchard.

I top it with either whipped cream or powdered sugar.

Never made jam before no memory of Grandmas but the wax on them from the pantry
