BYC Café

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Sour.
I'm sure Maggie will be happy to get sprung but I wonder if she'll hold a grudge against you for taking her there.

Last week of work before vacation. I managed to button up all the siding, soffit and fascia on the porch. Waiting for more siding to finish the front of the garage. The new doors and openers go in tomorrow.
Still a lot of work to do before starting on the seasonal room but I can get it done.

BTW my son and his" fee-on-say" got married Sunday - they've been living together long enough. They came down from Washington. Smaller wedding than they planned. She doesn't have any relatives in this country. Most of my relatives passed years ago.
Congratulations!

Good morning! Yay, Diva! I enjoy the company of my DILs. It is a nice mental change from all of the "manly mojo" around this place for sure. Even on the phone, they are nice to talk to.
Have a great day, Cafe!
How is your firefighting son doing @Mtn Margie ?
A son with this profession would have me on non-stop alert for sure, I wonder how you cope with it.

No kidding.
Heard on the news that they are severely understaffed and crews are not getting the breaks they need.

Sometimes (oftentimes) the smaller weddings are the best, as the real importance of the ceremony will not get clouded by all the gimmickry that nowadays often seems to be perceived as more important.

Congratulations to your new addition to the family!
