Pretty easy day over here, nothing major scheduled for me. My 18 yo is working calves today so I guess he will be coming home a bit dirty because grabbing and tossing and holding are the chores of the young and strong.
Raise a cup to the muck bath!

They both joined about the same time I did, and I thought I was chatty.
But they are fun, and we egg them on.

I was a late starter due to fear of computers and lack of know how. Whereas Sour boldly went everywhere - he got a MAJOR head start on me

. Plus it's hard to type and eat ice cream at the same time. Sour doesn't have those issues. He also never gave birth which permanently slowed my metabolism, built up major fat reserves in case I ever get marooned on an Island , and caused my hair to go snow white. The deck was stacked against me from the start. I rest my case.

My excuse is that when you have a kid, your brains get pushed out with them and it is replaced with dirty playdoh -with dog hairs in it.
Thus my hair brained ideas and muddled thinking.

Now I understand why I need my children to help set up the new television! As a mom I USED to know everything, but I swear, as my children get older they are stealing my brains...and my legs! Hopefully that stops when the last one graduates from college in a couple weeks, I need every little bit I have left!

When I was reading this line, I was thinking that the next line would be "Scotty give me all you've got!!" or "Scotty get us outaherenow!!"

Wrong! The 'Sourman' is a technophobe. I lurked here for years before even joining just as I did on eggbid - remember that one? Slowly and deliberately I learned to navigate this site. Television setup - forget about it. Grandchildren had to teach me how to use my cell phone, and it's surely not one of the 'fancy' ones.

We are afraid we might have to start playing board games and talking to one another once the boy goes to college.
It boggles the mind what he knows how to do.
We will have to learn how to skype just do I can make sure he gets hair cuts.
