BYC Café

It is SO frustrating to know how to fix something, and not be able to actually do it.
Will have to tarp it for Thursdays precipitation forecast.
Threads now all soaking in WD-40.
It's just one of the pemalties of getting older aart. I feel your pain.
Remembering how I was isn't really helping me with how I am.

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is made.
A bit chilly here this morning when out walking the dog. A bit like Mr sourland with the hands packing up at low temperatures. Don't really notice until I have to pick up the dog shit in one of those bags. It's not something one wants to fumble.:sick

Yup, just another loss to grieve.
Practically tho, how the hell will I remove snow without my little beast?

I hope you're not having to cope with panes of broken glass.

They're more similar to a plexiglass, so no damage to the panes at this point. They were blown out and the frame twisted, but we should be able to rebuild and then reinforce so it doesn't happen again.

Good Morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee!

We have a decent dusting of snow on the ground for the first time. Yesterday we had one of these newly termed 'atmospheric rivers' let loose in eastern Nova Scotia. We're all okay, but there is an insane amount of road damage from flooding and washouts (including over half a dozen bridges, some of which are brand new). The other side of the Cabot Trail was hit the hardest.

Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee, Shad.

Am I the only one who has problems opening those dog poop bags? Probably as I also have problems with the plastic vegetable bags. :old The Princess had to open a jar of tomato sauce for me yesterday. :barnie

Good News!
Went back to my old tractor forum and found the tech manual online.
Also took a closer look at ball/socket and it looks like there is a snap ring in the socket that holds the ball, so I should be able to pop it back together with some creative clamp blocks.
:fl :fl :fl
Found the snap ring after using biceps bars to loosen one of the threads.
Not the first time I've started tearing something apart before finding a simpler solution.
