Our road has not been plowed. DH says he's coming home anyway; he want to sleep in his own bed tonight. The neighbor got out in their 4wheel drive truck, so DH's Jeep should get through.

Another neighbor plowed the driveway from the mailboxes up to ours. I shoveled a two track down our drive, and I bet I'll feel it tomorrow. At least it's light fluffy snow!

The chickens are staying inside, for the most part. I'll go out with some chickie snack in a bit to check on them and scoop the poop board. There is a half inch of snow on everything in the run. The wind is swirling around, blowing it in from everywhere.

Our snow is bad history. After the killing heat of last summer and the snow storm this year ? Is this the normal ?

How long do you figure to live? If 90, middle age starts at 30

Between the notable lack of longevity in my family and all of my "clean" living, I'd say 90 is way out of range.

Good afternoon, cafe. Brought another pot for anyone in need.

We've probably got about 6", but we're all the way up to 13° (-10°)! Balmy The weatherman is claiming 42° (5°) tomorrow. It will sure be nice if it makes it there!

Got bread made today, good thing since I've eaten all the old stale heels.
Gave electrolytes/vitamins soaked up in rye flakes today,
one bird didn't come in for the feast but sat in the under-run,
same bird that was inside snuggled into coop bedding the other day.
Thought I'd go back out to find her dead, but she made her way inside and hopefully got some of the boost.
They all stayed inside after the EL feast, tho it's no colder and much less windy than yesterday...and still snowing.

We've gotten another 2" of snow since I shoveled.

I gave my chickens EL a couple days ago. Today they got some kombucha scoby in with their mash. They were chowing down on it when I left.

Rain, more rain but up north of us about 100 miles lot's of snow
