On the north side of the house, along that roof line, we get feet of ice. Think glacier build from a whole winter's worth of snow and in the Spring, when the snow is wet, it really ices up and gets shoulder deep in places. And so, that is where the raspberries flourish and it is the last place to melt off in June.
