Vernal Equinox this year is March 20. That's 45 days away. Which is 6 weeks and 3 days.

My hubby sent two dozen of our flock's eggs by mail - they arrived yesterday! I had almost forgotten how beautiful they are! We haven't had all these colours since before the fall moult.

In a medium sized prepaid box (shipping is ridiculous in Canada, so this is the easiest option), in the cartons which were wrapped in bubble wrapped and then stuck in wood shavings for cushioning with two bags of tasty east coast chips on each end to buffer them

Definitely points for creativity!

I went out last night at around 10:15 and shoveled a path through the frozen rain off the deck and did one pass over the driveway. That took an hour. There is just as much and more back down on everything and now the snow is falling.
