Good evening Café!

Just arrived in time to gobble down Meg's delightful sweets :D, thank you so much, and for the calf pictures too! Could you please give me the recipe for your homemade marshmellows?

The actual storm named Antonia with about 100 kmh is finally subsiding (the previous ones were Ylenia and Zeynep with about 160 kmh) and we are drowning in endless rains.

As was expected by us, many more trees came down, but no serious damage, so we were lucky this time.

took them for a longer run in the fields where we normally run and they both hit the tub when I got back.
Bella jumped out of the tub after I had her lathered up but not rinsed. What a friggin' MESS she made of my bathroom with just a 2 second jump out of the tub! :barnie
Hahaaa! Just like my boys after running and playing in the flooded muddy fields! Afterwards they look as if wearing a mud-icing and sometimes like breaded. :lau

Hi @LaFleche, glad you haven't had any serious damage. Do you usually get storms like that this time of year?

"unnecessarily put to sleep".....who decides that?
It's one of those laws that will be almost impossible to enforce and is likely to only be applied to a restricted number of species.
There are lots of problems apart from the one you've mentioned.
But, it's a step in the right direction imo.

Well, some years before in our region we have had violent storms continuing for 2 weeks, bringing heavy rainfall leading to flooding, but nothing like this year.

Going back in time there have been much worse situations here in Germany, such as

And of course the horrible winter of 178/1979:

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Shad.

We are going to have another warm day today but this time with rain. At least I got to enjoy yesterday. Today I go back to work.
Have a great day everyone.
