BYC Café

I met a new employee at work today who provided me with the names of two people who might be able to help me with my seasonal room. One reached out to me before I texted either of them and he's coming out Friday. I'll see how that goes before I tap the other one.
That would be awesome getting that monkey off my back. As it is, the tarp must be letting some water under it as I now have a faint water stain developing on my kitchen ceiling.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I'm going up there tomorrow, taking off the tarp and putting up underlayment to the ridge. We'll have to cut it back when the sleepers go on to make sure we're securing them to the trusses. That will hold up better than a tarp.
I really don't need this.

It cooled right off! And a cool week ahead.

Now that all the garden plants are in the ground, the pressure is off. I have to stay focused on weeding. And come up with something to plant in the onion beds, since 1 single broccolini came up, then died, and none of the beets and broccoli came up. I suspect a vole went down the line and ate the seeds. So maybe some kale. Maybe some carrots.

I saw 3 bean sprouts poking out of the dirt yesterday. I hope that they are the "scouts" and not the ones the vole missed...
