I feel semi-human this morning. But I must have slept 14 hours last night.

64 out, window open, fan blowing out upstairs. AHHHHIH!!

Savoring these next 3 days, because after that, the heat comes back. And not much chance of rain, so I'll be watering the garden.

We had rain off and on yesterday. So not having to water plants. But i will need to do the animals.

Hoping we get a lot done on the fence project this weekend. DH wants to start earlier in the morning, to take advantage of the cooler air. I doubt we'll finish the job -- we're about 1/3 done.

One thing we have to do on the other side is move The Big Rock. We got it out of the garden many years ago, so we should be able to get it about 12 feet farther east. I hope. The Jeep in 4 low is how we moved it the first time, so I hope we can do it again. We might have something we can use as a skid, or to roll it on.

There is another Even Bigger Rock that is just below the surface. It's staying there. The fence can go over it.

Here it is hot, really hot, and my chickens don't really like it, they sit under a bush and wait for me to bring food ah ah. Me neither. I have to check many times if they still have water. If not, I have to wait 5 minutes before the water from the garden hose is just warm. I could make tea with it

When we had hot weather I wait for cool filled all three 5 gallon buckets nice cool water yesterday.
