I have a pip! It is even hatching day and I was a day late on lockdown. I guess we will see and I suppose I should get some chick starter and get the brooder set up. I am going with straw this time because if the snow comes, we are going to lose power and straw seems warmer than shavings to me. They are still saying significant snow is a possibility for this weekend.....

It rained squishy hail balls for a couple of hours and now we are sunny again.....
squishy hail balls? like snow cone stuff?
Unless it is lemon or cherry flavored, that sounds awful.
although, my way sounds very messy.

Almost like oobleck.

:D . Oobleck! One of my favorite go tos for long winter days. I usually color it orange or some such, girls play with it for hours, stay out of my hair.

ETA: Have you ever made Gak?

It's been quite a while, but yes, I have.

It was a big hit (I made it once) but glue does not easily come out of carpets like play dough....and glitter does not stick to gak, at all.
