I installed magnetic closure screen doors over the entrance into the run. The chickens are obviously terrified of these flappy things. I propped one corner open and had about six birds brave enough to go through. Fabio walked up to it initially, the curtain that wasn't pinned down flapped maybe three inches, and he ran like hell! Had the entire flock in a tizzy! The young guy, Ace, walked out and he's outside now with three of the senior hens and two of the second year hens.
Oh the drama of trying something new to keep the wild birds out.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! We got more rain yesterday afternoon and sunny again this morning. Apparently my Starlink is ready for me to order! I would have done it yesterday, but my speed was in the bytes and stuff gets lost at that speed... LOL
I gotta go and split wood. My yesterday was spent taking a friend to the dentist and doing some shopping for her.
