Good morning!
Congrats on the new chicks, DL! Tink does look very happy!
We have a flash flood watch out for our area later on today and DH and I are heading down to the plains to have lunch with a friend on the lower ranch. I will be checking the weather before we head back up. Tomorrow, I have been asked to help bring in some escaped cattle, assuming they don't get washed away and we can find them. Finding critters in rugged terrain is always such a PIA. At least any tracks we find will be easy to follow!
Time for reading? No, just sipping vino and gossiping in the summer evening.
Time to coffee-up and get on with it! Enjoy the day!

Wait until the numbness wears off to chew, they said,
so you don't bite your tongue and cheek up.
Worst dental injection site pain I've ever had.
Hurts *bad* to open my mouth(jaw) and swallow(throat),
let alone chew.
Ibuprofen hardly touched it.
Wonders how long this is going to last.

so you don't bite your tongue and cheek up.

let alone chew.
Ibuprofen hardly touched it.
Wonders how long this is going to last.

What did they do in there??
Did the dentist grind the needle against the bone when injecting Novocain? Can you call them and ask for a small amount of something stronger to get you over the hump? Mouth pain is horrible.

@aart, sorry you're in pain! Hope it passes soon.

It's raining now. It chased me inside, but I was almost done with what I was working on anyway. It sure sounds lovely.

I don't know if she hit something wrong with the needle, didn't feel like it at the time, or it's just a worse reaction than usual. Hurts to swallow is the weirdest thing.
Ibuprofen finally kicked in, took 4 times as long as usual, but I was able to eat.
Just took another round as it's feeling worse again.

Mouth pain is one of the worst in my book ..
Did more ranch dip in sour cream. We are dip lovers !
