You know there are ponding forums you could check out if you want to learn about building ponds....and if @DobieLover wants to start a pond build thread, she'll let us know

Out of my brain.
After lots of research and from my previous experience with my first pond. I want this one to be much easier to maintain.

I get night like that. Even forget to click post some nights.

Cat tree is kicking my ever loving butt.
Had glue stuck on two shelves got it off with hot water.
Three days pulling staples out of it. have the house one colour. post and bottom another now ..

Good evening Cafe. I couldn't resist this one.

The trouble with this allotment business is what's going to make it does it at about the same time. I don't have a potato shortage. The raspberries didn't get enough sunshine and the fruting was minimal. The gooseberries suffered the same fate. These are allotment plumbs. They should be bigger by now but these are ripe and if not picked will rot soon. Plumb crumble coming up!

Another nasty storm with dire possibilities headed across the lake,
looks like this one will probably go north of me.

I sure hope so if it is that nasty .. Our weather has been dry but had so much rain in the spring early summer we are not in drought or risk.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We FINALLY got some much needed rain yesterday. Maybe 1/2". We need a lot more but it's better than nothing and it immediately dropped the temp 10 degrees. I left the fan off in the coop last night.

It's going to be muddy shaping the pond today though.

Another nasty storm with dire possibilities headed across the lake,
looks like this one will probably go north of me.

Stayed north except for some gusty winds, dropped the temp fast which was a huge relief. More rain at 4am, and more coming throughout the day.
