BYC Café

Yeah, only one. She's my only Orpington too. The Australorps haven't shown any sign of wanting to be moms.

Today is a nice day, and I'm wasting it canning the tomatoes that have ripened on my table. I have about 8 more that are starting to ripen, and gobs of green ones in the garden yet.

Tomorrow we're going to the Danish Festival in Greenville. We go every year. They have a flea market where I get my year's supply of socks (3 pair for $5, so I'll get $15 worth) and a bag of garden gloves (5 pair) for $5. Then we'll poke around the art/craft area, probably not buy anything, then go to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. If the lady with the really awesome tie-dye is there, we'll get T-shirts.

I left work this morning after only 2 hours and immediately went up on the roof when I got home. It's dry today but it is hot! I came into cool off for a bit but I've only got four courses left to go to reach the ridge. :woot

How's that wasting time?

Wasting the nice weather, I think.
Yeah, it wasn't too hot, there was a bit of a breeze, and sooo many weeds I need dig up. So canning tomatoes wasted the opportunity to get that work done. But the 'maters needed attention today. The weeds can wait. They'll just be bigger.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I should have the addition fully covered with Ice & Water, underlayment and drip edge today. I may even lay a course or two of shingles if I have time. What a relief to have come this far with this project.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! We are back and DS$ is on to his next thing.
I think wrestling practices will start on Monday, LOL!
Laundry and cleaning and there is a neighborhood picnic tomorrow, plus it is 48F outside, so chores are plenty and time is short! Enjoy the day!
