Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee.

Nobody drink mine until I'm done getting me fasting blood draw. I'll kill ya! I'm hangry...

Good luck on the blood draw. I'm sporting my second hematoma, but the results are back to normal. General consensus is that even with 3 negative tests I was sporting the long term effects of Covid. Color me thankful for the vaccine.

DL, when I do fasting for a blood draw, they tell me I can have ONE cup of BLACK coffee.

Ok, so that helps with the caffeine withdrawal headache, but then I have caffeine jitters on an empty stomach. Not sure that's better.

I can't do black. I'd rather just wait it out.
The blood draw went okay but I have to be much more involved to hold DH in place and keep his focus on me so he doesn't keep grabbing at the nurse, his arm, her equipment or her lab coat.

We went to a popular diner and had a very nice breakfast afterwards.

We then decided to look around for furniture options to furnish the sitting room in his new apartment with. On the way to the first store we were crossing a bridge over the Chenango river and we saw three police cars near the end. I initially thought it was a traffic stop for registrations and inspection sticker checks but when we got there I saw a woman on the edge of the bridge flailing her arms at the police officers who were trying to placate her and talk her down. Two of the officers hopped into their cruisers and peeled off in reverse to block the ends of the bridge and shut it down to keep the damn gawkers away. I hope they got her off.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready. Should go nicely with the sweets @LaFleche left.

Today is fill out the booklet of paperwork for admission into the Hearth day, go to the doctor's appointment for the admissions exam and look at some furniture for the apartment.
I finally figured out who the person is. DH was quite lucid yesterday. It is the sweet day aide!! I never would have guessed. Or should I say it's at least her. He said "I hate THEM" last Friday. Not HER.
