Yesterday we drove down to Charlotte, NC. Supposed to be 12ish hours, and it ended up being 14, with the last hour stop and go as we got near Charlotte. I told DH we're making it a two day trip next time. One day going home should be ok, as the end of the trip is the familiar part.

Gas down here is nearly a buck cheaper than at home.

Freya was and has been very good.

Today is 'put the tarps on the run' day then I'll keep working on the pond.
We dip into the 30s tonight after a high in the mid 50s. Then the highs will be in the low 40 with lows in the 20/30 for the foreseeable future.
The summer party is officially over.

Supposed to have got down to 29. I haven't checked yet but it feels like it by just sticking my head outside. Nightly lows are supposed to be in the 30's for a while.
