@aart, did you used to love the snow?

Dh says we're going to start the pantry project today. That means the stuff that used to reside in that closet has to find a new home. A lot of it got thrown away, but there are still some seasonal things I'll have to find homes for.

Like the windshield sun blocker thingie. Not sure where that can live in its off season. :hmm

In the trunk of the vehicle?

Thinking of @DobieLover this morning, thinks the new pup is arriving today?
Yes! She is. I'm both excited and terrified. I've never raised a puppy before and I don't want to screw up too badly. I've read several e-books by Michele Welton for pointers. My biggest issue with Fuji was her never asking to go potty, she'd just look at you (when you weren't looking at her) then trot off to pee on the floor because you didn't take her out. I'm going to be working hard on potty training but also training her to pee on a pad in a plastic tote because I can't expect her to hold it for 12 hours which is how long I'm gone on a normal work day. I may ask to split my day between the office and home. I'm certain I will be accommodated. That is one of the biggest reasons I stay where I am. The huge amount of flexibility I have.
She arrives at 5:00 in Syracuse and there is a 40-60 minute "recovery" period before I can get her. That gives the staff time to get her off the plane and transported to the building where I pick her up and process any paperwork. I'm not exactly jumping up and kicking my heels together over driving home in the dark but there's nothing to be done for that either.
