My Mother in Law lives out toward Peggy's Cove.

That's such a beautiful area - I don't tend to get out there much unless I have guests over, but I should make a point of going out there on one of these quiet winter days sometime.

Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee DL! I really needed it this morning! We had a little freezing drizzle this morning.

In case I don't mention it, I'll be disappearing for a bit - perhaps as early as mid week (next week - January 18th). I'm off the see family in British Columbia for a week and then out in the middle of nowhere on a 40ft sailboat tracking sperm whales around the equator from late January into February. Certainly no internet access out there, but I should be coming back with a few stories. DH will be looking after Salt and the crew.

Here's a photo from the last time I was down there - nearly 10 years ago (hard to comprehend that!).

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! What a great time to be floating around the equator, Orca! I had to reheat my coffee because I sat down to check the weather (7ish) and then bolted out the door to do all of the animal chores so as to avoid the 75mph winds that are supposed to be in full force by 9 am. DH doesn't know what to do with himself now that I did his too...
I guess it is another hang out kinda day!

Bella is really tolerant. What a great find she was.

That she is! Every day Piper puts her to the test and she passes all the time.
And to think her previous owner didn't want her anymore just because she couldn't have puppies from her. What a moron!
