Major problems with the stove, penny ?
My guess is two football teams. Honestly, that is as accurate a guess as I can give because I haven't the slightest idea which teams have a chance to make the playoffs ..... or if the playoffs are already happening and which teams are in them.
The @pennyJo1960 stove or the kitchen stove?
That's it! Exactly!None of the teams DH likes will be in it, so now it is "just football."
I'll watch it for the commercials. Anyone think they used to be better about 10-20 years ago?

I'm knackered. Had eldest and husband over for dinner on Sunday evening.
Went out with a friend looking at art in a couple of local galleries. Saw a picture I like but it was too expensive.
I volunteered to help with a local branch of a National Charity which deals with seniors a few months ago. I haven't been asked to do very much over the period but this morning I got a homeless Catalan speaking Spaniard needing some help. It was good to make use of the language again but it's slipping away due to lack of practice.
Too cold for me currently. Anything below 15C is too cold for me now I think on it. 2C at the allotments today. I think I've bought the only pair of gloves that make your hands colder than they were without putting them on.

The wood stove wanted to be a pain this morning. I won problem solved.
Appointment tomorrow with the optometrist. I've had blurred vision in my left eye for the past 6 months or so. I had cataract surgery on this eye eight years ago, and all was fine until recently. All he wants to talk about is cataract surgery on my right eye. 'Dry eye' is what he says I have. I've been treating with some improvement, but my right eye remains far better. I will not be scheduling cataract surgery until it becomes really necessary.
My Mom had LASIK surgery, and was sorry she did. She had one eye neatsighted, and one farsighted. After surgery she didn't need her old glasses, but was unable to read without reading glasses. She regretted having it done.
I have read a lot of people regret having it done. I have the same condition with my eyes, one near and one far but I only have a prescription for reading.

When the puppy is out playing and it suddenly gets quiet, it's not because she fell asleep. I found the little minx in my bed chewing on a pair of purple foam ear plugs. I'll have to BOLO for purple poop.
If nothing else, I'll be able to see how long it takes her to digest a meal!
