BYC Café

I wonder if a study was done for the opposite side of this spectrum. I don't function well at all in the kind of heat you dealt with in Catalonia.

A wood stove helps. And the fact that we cold lovers don't actually stay out in it all day. It's easy to bundle up to be out in it and come in and warm up by a cozy fire. But Margie is definitely made of tougher stuff than most!
I used to function reasonably well up to 35C. As I got older I found my temperature comfort range got narrower. I'm around 10C to 30C these days. Much colder or hotter and I just want to lie down and sleep. Not a problem now I'm retired now so I can sleep when I want, but not at all clever if there is work to be done.

Y'all can have the single digits, I am done with them!
Usually we get some warm days to break up the fun, but this year, not so much or the breezes kick up and drop the warmth down to negative wind chills.
Ridiculous!
Anyway, after this morning's freezing dip into the outside, I have hot coffee and a warm fire, as DL mentioned.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!

Same here.
I used to walk the golf course when it was in the 90°F's.
Used to stay out in the cold for hours skiiing or playing.
Not any more.
Course can't golf or ski anymore with wonky knees and hands,
and anything over about 80° has me almost naked under the ceiling fan. :gig

Was mid teens during chores this morning, by the time the path and run were shoveled and the chooks were tended my fingertips were hurting.
Found a frozen/cracked egg this morning, not sure if it was laid today or last night,
thinks this morning as it thawed pretty quickly and I had it for break-fast.
