BYC Café

Well the expected 8" overnight turned into MAYBE 3". Not much happening now though Mr. NOAA is saying 3" more by noon tomorrow. Got DW's car cleaned off and was shoveling around it when I noticed the light on the charging station was red. Some investigation says the charger started at 9 PM as planned, the something killed it within a minute. I shut of the power at the switch then back on, all fine. Car didn't charge overnight of course so she took her 2006 Prius which I had already cleared off and shoveled a path to the road. She could have driven through it, especially since the plow hadn't yet come by, but I was out, had the shovel. Exercise ;)

She would have preferred the heated seats in the Leaf as it was 15°F.

Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee DL! Have to get in the routine again. Yesterday was full of media interviews and pathology workshops. Another full day of pathology today and necropsies tomorrow (for the whale and dolphins stranding work I do on the side). Here’s one of the interviews for those who might be interested:

Eggs are flowing nicely now too here, which is great. Spring is on the way! Here’s some eggs and then a photo of short-finned pilot whales I took in the Galapagos. Will share more of those in the near future once things settle down a bit.
