BYC Café

Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee DL!

Storm was a bust here too. Snowed a tiny bit and then rained a lot. I have another live radio interview this morning - had hoped the media train was over, but then I got a call at 6:00pm last night. Haha. And I have a really hard time saying no to these things as I love teaching 😉

Good afternoon, Café!

We are back to nasty winter weather with hailstorms etc., it is really getting old!

A fresh pot is on the counter, so help yourselves to it and enjoy!

I hope everything is alright with you all, I seem to have lost track and just started to read back a little to see what has been going on in your lives. :caf

Yes. Her adult molars are in. She hasn't dropped her upper canines yet and the adult canines have erupted.

She and Bella have an appointment 4/3 with a new vet I'm hoping to use for future services. If her baby canines haven't fallen out by then, I'll have to schedule getting them removed. It is not completely unheard of for toy breeds to have persistent deciduous teeth.
I hope they do fall out by then because I don't want her needing a surgery before her spay and I'm not spaying her until after her first heat.
Play tug-of-war with her and wiggel these canines several times every day to loosen them and finally get them out. Don't wait too long, or the new canines might grow inwards and lead to palate injuries.

My younger Airedale Finn had the same problem and I did get his persisting baby canines out this way without having to submit him to surgery.

Looking for opinions on possible tile patterns for my 3x6 tile in the shower stalls
To my eye the herringbone is too busy on the wall. I would probably choose the running bond, least busy and easier to install.
This exactly. And taking into account that the bigger the tiles the lesser the cleaning hassle, we went with big ones 30 x 60 cm for the bathroom walls and kitchen backsplash as well. We mounted them vertically leading to even less trouble cleaning the joints from grime.

I did find some nice replacement vessel sinks, faucets and bathroom hardware for both bathrooms with a total cost of just about what I got for all the stuff I sold out of the basement.
Show us, please :)
