I have mine euthanized and leave for the wildlife a bit away from my property when a bird is clearly suffering and there is little hope of recovery.

I have another bird acting off. It's Alecia. Maybe that is why she was sitting with Astrid next to the broody breaker the other day. She is walking slowly and her head is tucked in. She turned 4 on 4/29. She too is light in the keel. I'm going to watch her to see if I can determine a treatment if any.
Check for mites.

I thought she was broody too(I may have your flock members confused in my mind)?

There are fox here and there are groundhogs here. Either the GHs are even more sly than the foxes or the foxes don't want to mess with them.
I know, I know.....wishful thinking.
GH are skittish as hell, I imagine they would be hard to catch.

In the past I have been able to get them in a Havahart trap. The current one, presumably the same one that was here last year is a lot more wise. Didn't matter what "bait" I put in in including everything that has worked before and everything that Google says they can't resist, the critter never went in the trap.

A couple of days ago I was in the barn and looked to see if there were tunnel entrances in the old hay mow (dirt and big rocks for a "floor". Yep, so I started filling it in, stepped back and dropped into a tunnel that collapsed under my foot. At least it wasn't deep and I didn't screw up an ankle or break a leg.

I know they are hard to trap, have heard many stories, why I stealth shoot them.
I imagine a fox has a hard time catching them out too.
Rascal killed one once, a young one, walked up to me and dropped it at my feet.
Happenstance I'm sure, as he was no real hunter,
right place right time...for the dog not the gh.

Yes, they can take a building down. Glad you weren't injured.
