BYC Café

Did you go to the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que?
I been to Dinosaur Bar- B-Que once and you got to get there early or wait in a line for a seat!!! The food was pretty darn good too but kinda on the expensive side. Never went to Tully's though. Yup, I'm originally from the Syracuse area in NY. Now that I'm living in the South found out that some restaurants that are here and in the North have WAAAAYYYYY better food than they do in the NORTH.

I got called from the Hearth while I was at work today. Apparently DH was being aggressive towards staff and raised his fist at one of the residents.
He was very lucid the last time I saw him a few days ago and today he's completely in La La land. They put me on speaker phone and I tried to talk to him and he wouldn't come near the phone. I went to see him when I got off work and he was covered in food and sitting there just tapping his feet and laughing with food all over the table and not eating. There was no glass of water. I found out later that he swept them off the table across the room. So I stayed and helped him finish his food but he just couldn't connect with me at all so I left.

And I may as well mention I did finally reconnect with my mother now that she's away from my CS. She's in the hospital full of cancer.
She had a bronchial wash because there's a mass in her lungs and it came back as "undifferentiated stage 3 carcinoma". She also has masses near the break in her femur that has since healed after surgery, a mass in her hip that she's been complaining about pain in, one on a rib, one in her pancreas, one in her abdomen, and someplace else that I don't really remember. Seems to me that it's not treatable if it's all over her body.
We're trying to get a prognosis because she doesn't want to go home. If I lived with CS I wouldn't want to go home either. We're hoping to get her into a hospice facility called Mercy House. But her prognosis has to be 3 months or less.
