Guessing something heavier and of longer duration, probably raccoon.
Section was bent far enough to pull it off the rafters, and create a gap, but not kinked so it popped right back into place easily. Mesh is was attached rather lackadasily, I added a couple zipties.

By intimate get together does that mean 1 Matron of Honor and 5 bridesmaids plus 2 flower girls for my side and 1 Best Man and 5 Groomsmen plus 2 ring bearers for the Grooms side and around 75 guests???? We're not going to use the bosses wedding venue after all seeing how it's too far away (over an hour drive and it's just a structure- open sides, no bathroom) but we have the venue, the wedding party, the officiant, the photographer/videographer, menu, color scheme and theme all set/ planned.

Finally a bit of sun here, but it's still fairly humid - that won't change until mid-late August. It's DH's birthday today so I'll be back up to the Cape again.

Another Mort Neff(googleit) Moment today:
3 turkey hens with at least a dozen poults meandering thru the field at woods edge followed oh so slowly by a velvet antlered buck.
Don't often see bucks n the field here....and WTH was he following the turkey's?

The last of the mother hens left her chicks yesterday after starting to lay again. At 6 weeks of age the chicks are not even calling for her anymore, she did a great job.

I hope that it was not too painful @Ladies-Eight

I am off to AZ for a couple of weeks for some GD and family time. 40 F and rain to 110F and sun? Whatever!
