BYC Café

Found Fabio's right spur sheath in the coop today. I think he may have smacked his spur into one of the uprights when he jumped off the boards this morning and it snapped off.

If you zoom in you can see the bloody stump that was left. He was not very cooperative in trying to get a picture!

Looks like just the sheath came off clean.
Had one of mine do that but the sheath fractured...and probably some of the core.
It healed up OK tho.

Trying to ignore the dread the next week holds.
Same here. I handle it a whole lot better than a lot of people I know. I'm lucky.

New neighbors move in today. They're 4 houses down, but when there are 5 houses on the road, everyone is a neighbor. They're coming from Indiana. I don't know if they know what changes await them. Winter is very different, and unless they're from the boonies, there might be a bit of a shock there too.

Might depend on if they are from northern or southern Indiana.
Hope they turn out to be 'good' neighbors.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee!
I have to head down the hill and take my old ranch friend shopping. The buzzards are circling and he is whining about not having any vittles,
Good thing I also have to help with the second HS wrestling camp, LOL!
Sally, you should bring them some cookies! We get that all the time up here with the people moving in and only making it one winter. It is a running joke that no one bothers to learn your name until you have been here for 3 winters, :lau
Have a great day, Cafe! I need to get rolling...
