Is that a typical survival rate for goat kids?

I know the feeling. I'm giving away zucchini's left and right and eating all I can.
I have zucchini boats in the fridge that the neighbor made with the ones I gave her, I have another zucchini fritter in the fridge with some grilled Italian sausage, I'll be making some zucchini with lemon garlic shrimp later in the week and I've been using one in each frittata I make but I still can't keep up!

You can grate it and freeze it in quantities for recipes.

I make zucchini bread and it wors well for that.

I always add some to take care of freezing process.

If you put a little bit of hair creme rinse in the last rinse, the "wet wool" smell is a little more tolerable.
Does it do something to the wool....or just for the perfume?

while the artificial and intrusive smell of parfumes, fabric softener, hair gels etc. makes us sick
Ditto Dat^^^!

I don't use any of those products. I have a detergent for wool and I don't mind the smell of wet wool.
Wet wool... fine. Wet dog hair... uh, not as nice.

When I first started washing and spinning wool, the smell was a bit over powering. I (we) got used to it.

I used it just for the smell. You wouldn't want to use much, as it might change the way the fiber took the dye.

White vinegar worked even better, IMO, and it helped with the dye, as protein fibers need an acid based dye.

Which Kool-Aid can be, BTW.

Waiting for the septic tank company to come and pump out our tank. No issues, just needs to be done.
How often is one supposed to do that?

That's only enough space for one house.

I live on an acre lot.
Depends on where you live, our prior house lot was < 1/10 acre. Yeah, kinda tight in that neighborhood.

DS@ dropped 19 trees in about 1.5 hrs
Wow! It takes me longer to get one down. They always seem to hang up in another tree.

We had a tornado warning last night. Thankfully, we didn't even get a storm.
Had one at the campground in NJ Tues night. There was a thunderstorm but no tornado. Good thing, Not nearly enough room in the places we were told we could go for even a small fraction of the number of people in the campground. Many seem to be permanent residents with fancy wood decks, awnings, flower gardens for their trailers.

I just got my first quote for taking down that widow maker arrangement that will take out my shed and damage my solar panels if it comes down. Just $900 to drop them. I was ready to pay twice that because they have to bring in a lift to get them down. I asked him if he can push over some other small, dead trees that are on that section of my property and he said he would and it wouldn't be that much more because it would only take a few minutes to do.
Next I'll talk about the poplars along the back wood line that I want pushed over. They are not on my property but the owner has told me on many occasions that I can take down whatever I want. I'll need him to give me a written statement to that effect.
