How are things with the tree guy coming along? Do have your camera at the ready?
He got stuck down in Sayre. He was removing a tree that had fallen on someone's house when someone else drove by to ask if he could get a tree off his garage. And another person asked if he could get some trees out of his yard and so on and so on.

He swung by my house yesterday to see how wet my yard is and how he'll get the lift back to the work site without damaging my yard too much. He should be coming up today to take the widow makers down. I took a better look at it from a different angle and one of the trees hung up in the pine is at about a 45 degree angle.

Hopefully, noone else will keep him from taking your widow makers down.
We have some still standing/leaning in our small copse too but did not have the time to take them down yet.

Just yesterday I had a craftsman neighbour over to reattach the outside window framings on the first floor windows. They were taken off by DH last summer to be painted, which we did, but then we never got to reattach them because of the health issues. I don't want him up a high ladder any more as this would no longer be safe.

Damn chilly overnight, low 50's had me pulling up the second blanket.
Upper 80's, low 90's highs for a week starting tomorrow. UHG!
Yeah,Yeah...its way worse many somewhere elses but I'm still gonna grouse about the heat.

Heard a great crash in coop this morning, they had flown up and knocked a couple 2x4's off top of broody crates as well as a feeder and waterer there. Someone(s) was rumbling out there.
Feed and water consumption is way down, granted they are not laying but still.
Feed is a few months old and I had to treat for grain mites with DE, might have put in too much, making it unpalatable.

Well.... They're down. They fell last night.

Both the tractor and the panels seem to be undamaged. He stopped out this morning to assess and is coming back in the afternoon to cut everything up and bring down the pine.
