Hello, Cafe’!

Remember way back to Monday when I mentioned that it was in the 90’s and sunny? This morning it was 55 degrees colder when I got up than it was on Monday afternoon. We also have wind and clouds. (I drove to school in the rain.) Oh well, it is October. It was bound to happen.

DL, glad the burials went well. DH has requested (not that he plans on this being fulfilled anytime soon, but you never know…) that we put a stone in our little church cemetery, but he wants to be buried on the bank of our little lake at the end of the pasture. My aunt was on the hutch that I inherited from her for over a year until we could get her to Fort Snelling National Cemetery to be with my uncle.

MORF = My Old Ranch Friend= Crazy old cowboy that I take shopping and on errands. He and DH are going to get me kicked out of TSC one of these days.

Temps dropped, winds are up, leaves falling....more rain tonight and tomorrow.

Found a clucker in the nests last night, glad I leave the broody crates all set up and ready to go. She may be the lone layer left yet.

That was my first thought...it could be a hoot-hoot clock in stead of a coo-coo clock.
