I don't normally drink coffee but I could sure use a cup this morning.

There's also Tea Bags and Hot Cocoa packets (I can make marshmallows appear if you want to put 1-2 on top of your Hot Cocoa.

That would be perfect. My helper is off for the day and I'm heading for a short nap. 4 a.m. was a long time ago now. I've already done 6 hours of manual labor and am give out.

Hello, Cafe’!
I’ll join you with a cup of tea. Mainly to hold onto it and keep my hands warm. High today is 49, low last night was mid-30’s. Ever since his bypass surgery 2 1/2 years ago, his thermostat has been off, and he feels cold more than he used to. Because of this, we were going to turn the furnace on to take the chill off last night. When I turned the switch on, it didn’t do anything, so after a few minutes I went to the furnace room to make sure everything was as it should be. I smelled something like hot plastic, but didn’t hear anything, so I went upstairs and turned the furnace off. I did make some fresh blueberry muffins this morning to warm up the house. They’re on the counter next to the coffee pot. Help yourselves. Supper tonight will be something made in the oven. DH will call the furnace guy on Monday. Meanwhile, I can turn on the fireplace in the basement and warm up if I want.

As me and DH have aged we get cold easier.
harder to deal with those cooler days. Below 50 is sweatshirt or sweater days.

The Princess has a faulty thermostat and is always too hot or too cold. Mine works fine.
