You are so close to Mayo I'd demand a referral from his primary. That is a wonderful place. I've been through it a couple of decades ago.

I was told by the office that a referral was out of the question with a year's waiting list.

Then I'd want on that list ASAP. There is no reason they can't get him on that list. People are getting on it every day to keep it that far out I believe. Every day that passes it one more day of waiting.

She's on a waiting list to get one now. They are back ordered for some time now. When she finally gets it she will still have an emergency bottle to use just in case it stops working. She had one from a different supplier that couldn't keep her in supplies and when she changed over to a new company with excellent service they installed the house concentrator and gave her 2 large bottles and 4 small mobile bottles. Now she is using very little of the bottles. Only on the rare occasion that she goes to town with me. I hate leaving her at home alone and she hates leaving the house.

I bought the small concentrator for him.

It is not through any Oxygen company.

Although we do have a company that services for large concentrator, six small Oxygen bottles, and a large bottle of Oxygen.

As soon as the small concentrator comes available our insurance will cover it. I don't remember how long she's been on the wait list but I think about 3 months.

Is your wife okay?

I'm fine now that I'm awake and have had my medication. I had fallen asleep in my comfortable chair but I woke up when hubby was in the room. I'm a light sleeper and usually wake myself up when I'm not breathing well. The C-pap machine helps but it also wakes me up so I'm not really getting a restful sleep. Thank you for your concern.

Thanks Pennyjo1960. I'm not on here a lot, I can't sit still for long, To many irons in the fire! I usually look at things in the evening.
