There's at least 1/2 pot of FRESH,HOT and READY coffee wanting and waiting to be shared. FH is going to be smoking a Boston Butt that has been marinating in APPLE CIDER (BIIIIIGGGGG difference between Apple Cider, Apple Juice and Apple Cider VINEGAR!!!!).
Before and after pics of my dinner last night. Think I put a little dent into it, what do Y'all think?

That was King Kong BURRITO at Bandido's Mexican Restaurant in Farmville, VA. The green part is a sauce they put on it

Morning Cafe or afternoon! We seem to have dry minute here woke late.

Wife is napping after a rough morning tending to the coops. With all the rain and humidity increasing doors are sticking it was hard on her. I'm going to nap some before going out with her this afternoon. We make the rounds usually 3 times a day doing basic maintenance. My coffee must have been low grade because I sure am sleepy.

Anyone who thinks living in the country is quiet has never heard hundreds of geese flying overhead. Or dozens of pheasants waking up at sunrise and going to bed at sundown. Or the whistling whoosh of wings as a flock of swans flies by. Or the constant mumbling of ducks in a slough. Or a woodpecker pounding holes in a tree. (They’re even louder when, for who knows why, they decide they need to pound on a metal grain bin.)

Slew. Like a pond, but shallow and full of cattails and duck weed. And muskrat houses.

I've heard it pronounced with variations of Slew and Slaw........ Some times like a hybrid of those two in one. The accents from around the country and make it into a tongue twister for some. After living many years in the melting pot of Florida and hearing people from NY to WA and the best accent I can imagine for it to be properly understood is one from the Bayous of Louisiana.
