BYC Café

I think, even with reduced books, I still have at least 1000 left over 😳 I used to buy a lot through Ebay or thrift store

I have a lucrative collection of cookbooks.

Everywhere I look there is a stack of cookbooks.

I will not throw them away, but I will give them to anyone who wants them.

Last summer, DH was gifted some 10' U-channel posts from where he works. They're now fence posts around our garden. When I looked online, they priced out about $1350. Yesterday, we stopped by and his boss said, hey, do you want another two dozen posts? How about some cattle panel that I want to get rid of?

Pinch me. I must be dreaming.

That's a big year end bonus.

Good evening everyone!

I brought a freshly brewed pot to share while relaxing a bit from today's yardwork and never ending household chores. :caf

Today I noticed one of my three cockerels chasing down hens relentlessly while the other two prefer to turn on the charm and call the hens for feed and any treat they may find underneath the fallen leafs.
So I guess he will be handed his ticket to freezer camp as soon as I have recovered enough from the nasty bout of severe cold that even had me in bed for three entire days.

I have the same rooster scenarios here. One is a Black Sex Link that turns on the charm calling the hens when I give him a treat. He drops it on the ground for them. Other roosters gobble it down. He has several sons that look like him and 3 of them hang out with him. They are almost as big as he is now and he feeds them. He won't feed other roosters though. I'm just surprised he feeds sons who have sisters laying.
