Good morning, well… afternoon here.
It’s been a slow day. I was planning on going out to the park and sketching some of the birds but it looks like rain.

Well dropped off most threads close to a week.
Had two huge limbs come off tree into the barn.
Neighbor brought his excavator lifted each one off.
We do have close to 2 years wood we will not have to buy.

Oh, man, Penny! No one was hurt, right?? Sorry about the barn, and at least you got something out of it...

We shall see....since Nov it goes out like this(several days)then back full force about once month.
I have Frontier DSL...no good strong air signals out here.

3 days of ISP FUBAR...appeared to be back online(hehehe) first thing this morning(5am) then went out again, now back....will it last?

The joys of rural internet. 2020-ish we occasionally had outages for weeks at a time. I don’t miss that.

Have had DSL for 10-15 years now, prior to last fall it would go out for 24 hours or less on occasion, I would just shrug it off thinking it still beat the hell out of dial-up.

I see a lot of folks bitching to beat the band about cell service cutting out around here all the time. When my daughter is here visiting, or a service person needing to process my CC, they have to go outside or even out near the road to get a connection.

Penny, I hope the barn did not get damaged! Those sound like some really big limbs.
DL, I will try to get some pics of the Magpies tomorrow. I am off to have lunch with DIL and GS today.
MORF is scoping out some more hardwood down by the creek and I think I will keep some for myself this time, but he did say that there seems to be "quite a bit" so not sure what I am getting myself into.
We have snow coming in on the weekend, "potential for significant travel impacts" Yuck.
