@DobieLover is the rash subsiding?
I am SO glad I went to the doctor.
I was prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide cream and 5 days of Prednisone.
I put the cream on as soon as I got into my car because I was prepared to claw my face and neck off it itched and burned so bad. Within 10 minutes it felt like someone threw an ice cold blanket over a fire and smothered it.
As soon as I got home I took my dose of prednisone and then passed out. When I woke up I could feel that the swelling had dramatically reduced in my face but most especially in my eyes as I could see better.
I have never experienced anything even remotely like this. And I'm very glad that I now have the proper treatment to deal with it. The OTC treatments helped a little but are nothing compared to these prescriptions.

Glad they’re working

That’s great news!

That must feel wonderful! My go to when I am itchy is vinegar. I have tried all kinds of other stuff, but vinegar really seems to work for me.

Pred has worn off a bit overnight and my face is a little more swollen. I only have 5 days of the pred. The ointment will last at least 2 weeks from the looks of it. I hope this clears up way before then.
That stinks!
Are they sure it's just from stress...not some contact dermatitis or a spider bite?
