There exist different types of allergic reactions, not all are instantaneaous. For most of them the body would need a second exposure or some time to build up a response.

Ouch! Did you get the ink tested prior to having your tattoos? It happens quite often that people have allergic reactions to it.

No. There is no reaction any where near the tattoo. It's healed up fine. The rash originated on my throat.

Pred has worn off a bit overnight and my face is a little more swollen. I only have 5 days of the pred. The ointment will last at least 2 weeks from the looks of it. I hope this clears up way before then.

Can you take Benadryl with it?

I broke out in spots once when I was in FL. Turned out I was allergic to sunshine! Ugh!

I could but it's not needed. It's under control and clearing up with the prescriptions and I don't want to add anything else if I don't need it.
