Cataract surgery tomorrow. So tonight I need to make sure they all have food and water. The chickens that is.

Of course, you have to take care of your chickens.

Just one eye? Here, they only operate one eye, in case something goes wrong , after 2 months or so, they do the other eye, my father-in-law had it done years ago and said it gave him a new quality of life ! I should get it done too, but they would also exchange my lense, and then both eyes have to be done, I’ve still got 20/20 with glasses in my left eye, if something goes wrong, I could lose that, so not doing it. I am also having problems with my retina, one of the risks of the operation is the retina coming down, since mine are already dinky, won’t risk it! I hope your operation goes well and you will be awaking to a brighter clearer world

I had my cataracts removed a couple of years ago. The ophthalmologist did one one week and the second one the next week

I spent yesterday and today out and about running errands.

Took hubby to get his marijuana yesterday.

He had a dose this morning with his breakfast.

He was in a good mood when I got home today.

He ask for part of the steak and wanted a potato with it.

I hope this is how things are going to be.

~20° here this morning, but sunny and supposed to get up to 40 later which might melt all that white sh!t on everything.
Was 'locked' out of the coop this morning, spring clip was stuck last night, figured it got wet in the blowing snow and froze. Got it open, maybe from the warmth from my bare hands, but it was still kinda sticky, this morning I couldn't get it to budge and too cold to take off gloves.
Good thing the screws on the hasp were exposed to I could remove them to get in, we'll see if it thaws later, at least it will be warmer to mess with.

Thanks for the hot coffee! Sunny, near 50F , and breezy - cough, cough.
I am going to go track down some free wood for the neighbor with a kiddo.
It is already cut up so it just needs splitting, plus I get to run my truck and move it out of the current snow drift, which is a good thing.
