I'd love to have a juke box! It would have old 70's-80's classic rock and classic country in it. Billy Idol would be there too

(was the kid that made the rude comment about Billy Idol being a random teenager serious the other day?? I couldn't find a polite way to reply, so I bailed out)

Plain brown wrapper over corrugated cardboard describes me much better than soccer mom. Never got into soccer. Loved being a baseball mom for plenty of years though.


Ok -- everybody, if you had a huge jukebox, what music would be in it?

back in my day the rockers looked like rockers...
now they look like chairs.

There would have to be 'Goodie two shoes' by Adam Ant. That was me in a nut shell.
Stone roses, razor light, alkaline trio...Maximo park...


I am punk rock fan. I am sorry. It is the real me that only my brain knows about wrapped in the goodie two shoes persona. In my head, I have neon blue hair and body piercings.
In real life -boring. My son did not even play soccer. He did science experiments. The big activity was growing sugar crystals in the kitchen window. (wild times)

Did all of your windows stay in one piece? I remember a certain attempt with my brother that used a probably banned substance now days, that 2 teens could buy over the counter back then, it blow the doors off of an old metal storage cabinet and filled the back porch & yard with red/orange smoke. Had to talk real fast over that one.

No. I have decided the entire purpose of my husband's and my life was to rear the kid up to survive in one piece.
We might not be much, but he might end up being something the world needs.
We had to work really had to do it too.
Good thing I only had one kid. It was a full time job.

My son had the phone on speaker when we were talking, and a friend came in and he introduced us. He was describing her and he asked her,"What color is your hair?" and I blurted out, 'Blue! It has to be blue. please be blue.' and she said, "I think it is auburn, but I could go blue.''
There are more of us around than you think.
We might be mild mannered math nerds (her anyway -not me) but when we get our super hero powers look out!
