All of my outbuildings/coops are 1/2 open air at the top, a sheet of plywood on it's side and 2 to 4 feet of wielded-wire or chain-link on top.
The horse shelters are of the 3 sided lean-to type. Even my shop area is open air 12 by 24 ft. no walls.
DW has said no more brooding chicks in her house.

hmmm.......can you move her up on the porch, share a wall with the house, in a temp small pen?
