There's a Shitake mushroom festival going on close by today. We miss it every year, this will be our 3rd try to get there, this might be the one time we actually make it!

I have always been tempted to try growing mushrooms, are they difficult?

Somewhat.....I've had mixed success.
I think I'll make some changes in my mushroom growing operation when I try again.
I but the kits and they are easy to do.
I wish I had the time to inoculate my own mushrooms. If you want to try it get one of those simple oyster mushroom kits. I think they are easy...and hard to beat a good oyster mushroom.
I plan to pick a bunch this spring and start my own.

Oh I am all about the planning. It doesn't always happen, the orchard has been in the 1 yr plan for 5 years. But I try.

Better. Feverish, she had a temp of 101.5 so gave her some advil. she is sleeping now. but we stopped throwing up at around 5.
She feels good enough that I had to scold her though, so that is a good sign.

I feel for you OFW
I remember sick days.
As a stay at home mom, When my children were little and I had a sick day it ALWAYS meant some one else was throwing up.

I hope she gets finger shaking better real soon
