BYC Café

Scott, thanks for the ava compliment. I planted 3 different types of sunflowers last year and they really took off (a first for me with those). Managed to get a few good pictures of them, including the avatar one. Here are a couple of the others:

The bottom one is one of the plants that got over 10' tall. Caught the moon in the sky above it.

It was fun growing them, I'd like to try them again this summer.

Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to raising chickens but I love a good coffee and chicken chat.

Welcome!
This is a good group!
And Scott makes great coffee.

Up at 4:30 and out of the house by 5 to go to the first field trial of the season. I need a coffee, folks. Ran 4 dogs in two classes and ended up with a 2nd and 4th in the 15" male class. Well judged field trial. Coming home we were going up Jugtown Mt and the Princess said, "The road is wet." I replied, "Looks like de-icer, but why? It's not supposed to snow." Well, the weatherman missed this one. It was snowing by the time we got home. We'll just hunker down this evening.

That sounds like an awesome day. Congrats!

NFC your avatar is so cheerful - we could use some sun, we had a high of 8 degrees today and so far a low of -1.5 F I'm sure it will go down some more.

Good morning everyone!

Sour, congrats on your field trials yesterday
