He has a sled and he gets there two days before classes start!
geesh. I hope he doesn't break anything. Maybe I will send a bike helmet back with him.

Yes he still tries blacksmith to when he is home, he goes to the meetings, but his new thing now is casting.
He has been playing with aluminum and bismuth.
He is having a difficult time finding crucibles and things. or people to show him how and what he needs, but every experience opens your eyes to new things.
 
I got home from the grocery store Tuesday, to notice a few drops of water coming down from the light fixture above the kitchen sink. I reacted by doing my "Henny Penny" routine.
I know that can't be a good sign, either ice blocked up in the gutters, roofing problem, or both

It would be nice to get through a few days or so without wondering "How am I gonna pay for that?" At least I know better than to say "why me?" because it happens to all of us

Duchess is well...and really getting red all of a sudden in the comb and wattles! I may get a blue egg after all!

On another note...I probably should've stayed in bed. I let the cockateils out for their daily flying around the house and when hubby walked in one cockateil flew right out the door and into the great forever...
