So sorry De'BB

We had an accident here today while bathing Needle.

She flapped and flew and ran right into DGD drying art work.

Poor poor Needle.




It is non toxic and I pulled as much as I could off so we didnt have to rebathe her.
But DGD likes the colors said it looks like she had a fight with a rainbow.

After all the excitement they took a nap.


Then we made cookies before she went home.

I love spending time with her and she loves the chickens Needle is her favorite. I got her so we could rehome the leg horns gpa picked up at tractor supply figured white to replace white. WELL we still have the leg horns too. they are not friendly birds but they are hers!

So while we were drying her we took the time to go over all her different parts and She thinks it is cool she can make her own oil for her feathers and doesnt have to use lotion. I though it was neat that she made a connection at all to that little gland.

So for now we have a Bantam Cochin White Frizzle / Paint.

Eggsy, I'd love to have your husband come over anytime. I mean to fix the leak of course. Could he fit into my son's size medium LLBean Rugged Ridge parka it. It's a dark blue, no flames or graffiti detailing, I promise. He leaves it here because he claims Washington state never gets very cold.

I think I will see how much I can get off with just a washrag first. Cochins have like 6 layers of down Took 4 hours to blow dry her.
