well she says, she would appreciate more time with me, but then on them poor weather weekends, when I am cooped up all day with her, takes on the same attitude as your wife.  lol

oh, a tractor barn?

that sounds like my kind of project.  plus you could "add on" some coop housing.....storage for feed.

This is what man caves are for....all it really requires is a basement, a tv, and a comfy chair...mine is happy, and he is out of my hair

Mine calls that work Course he has a bit more to work with...Here there is always something that needs building, fixing, both mechanical and construction. So when he is home he like to rest, hide. In the winter though, weather does not permit alot of work. So he is home teasing me and the girls :/ I send him downstairs to give us a break

OFW, as much as I enjoy my projects, none of them are for our livelihood, at least not yet. I can understand his perspective tho.

It is a great life and he does love it, do not get me wrong. He simply prefers the working with the cattle over the other maintenence required. But if he could not have been a farmer, he would have been a farm hand. I simply cannot imagine what else he would do.

He's had some steel trusses for years, finally drug them to our camp. High hopes of building a huge shelter/barn/shed thing for his dozer, tractors, etc. I just keep using all the other supplies as he gathers them...
